The Southeastern Society (SESAF) is one of 33 multi-state/state societies that make up the national body known as the Society of American Foresters. SESAF is composed of professional foresters and forest technicians from the three state region of Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.

Since 1900, the Society of American Foresters has been dedicated to improving the health and productivity of America's forests. SAF provides information and networking opportunities to prepare its nearly 18,000 members for the challenges and the changes that face natural resource professionals.

SESAF Leadership Academy 2017

The SESAF Leadership Academy will be held July 26-28, 2017 at the Withlacoochee Training Center in Brooksville, Florida. The Academy is filled and online registration is closed. Please contact Sharon Dolliver () if you would like to be placed on a waiting list.

Forest resource managers and students from Alabama, Florida and Georgia are invited to participate. The program will provide participants the opportunity to learn about practical leadership principles, communication techniques, and member engagement. Participants can earn nine SAF CFE Hours (6 hours Category 1-CF and 3 hours Category 2 credits).
